About ASPIRANTUM language school
ASPIRANTUM combines unique learning experiences with unforgettable cultural trips
ASPIRANTUM is an independent School of Languages and Cultures based in the Republic of Armenia, dedicated to intensive language education for academically oriented students, researchers, and professionals from around the world.
Founded on a strong academic tradition, ASPIRANTUM has been organizing high-level language programs in Armenia since 2014. Our summer and winter schools were initially developed under the name ARMACAD and continue to be powered by ARMACAD LLC. Today, ASPIRANTUM operates as a distinct educational brand, expanding its scope while preserving the rigor, personal approach, and institutional experience developed over more than a decade.
We specialize in immersive language instruction in Armenian, Persian, and Russian, with additional offerings and expertise in Georgian, Arabic, Turkish, and Kurmanji. Our programs are designed for learners who seek more than classroom instruction - students who want to engage deeply with language as a living system embedded in history, culture, and everyday life.
Since our founding, ASPIRANTUM has welcomed students and scholars from over 30 countries, including participants from leading universities, research communities, and professional fields. Many of our participants attend with support from their departments, scholarships, or personal research funding, and join us to strengthen language proficiency for study, fieldwork, and long-term professional goals.
What distinguishes ASPIRANTUM is its small-group, high-intensity instruction, close collaboration with experienced instructors, and a carefully curated cultural program that turns Armenia itself into an extended classroom. Language learning at ASPIRANTUM is inseparable from lived experience - through excursions, conversations, shared meals, and sustained exposure to local communities.
ASPIRANTUM exists for those who take languages seriously: as academic disciplines, as professional tools, and as gateways to understanding societies from within.
