Armenian Language Summer School for beginners

The summer school will not only focus on Armenian language, but will also address computer literacy issues. Among topics that participants will learn are how to install Armenian keyboard and fonts on popular devices, how and where to find Armenian language online resources, what are the most reliable online media resources, what are the relevant Armenian and non Armenian online communities on facebook, twitter and other social media.

ASPIRANTUM - Armenian School of Languages and Cultures in Yerevan organizes International Armenian Language Summer School in Yerevan for beginners to take place from July 07 to July 27 (3 weeks), 2019.

This 21 days summer school offers participants to learn Armenian from the alphabet, master skills in written and oral modern Armenian, reading and interpreting Armenian texts as well as rapidly deepening their knowledge in colloquial Armenian.

During the summer school several cultural trips will be offered, which will transform your stay in Armenia into an unforgettable, academically oriented endeavour.

On the first day (July 07, Sunday) the program will be launched in Garni, built by King Tiridates I in the first century AD as a temple to the god Mithra/Mihr.

Classes will start on July 8th.

This Armenian Language Summer School is designed for students, at least 14 years-old, who not only want to make well-grounded progress in their knowledge of the Armenian language, but also to deepen their knowledge of Armenian Culture and Armenia.

The 3 weeks summer schools offers an intensive Armenian language course spanning 60 hours, divided into 15 days of instruction and focusing on grammar, reading, speaking, and writing (4 hours of Armenian language instruction every day).

This course is open to anyone who wants to learn Armenian from the very basics - alphabet, new words, grammar, etc.

Lectures will be held in Armenian and/or English.

The participation fee is 1790 USD for 3 weeks Armenian Language course.

Application deadline is May 20, 2019.

Registered participants should send 100% of the participation fee before May 21 via a wire bank transfer.

This price includes writing materials, coffee breaks.

We will not cover accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, visa costs, insurance, travel costs to Armenia, from Armenia and in Armenia, any costs of accompanying friends or family members.
