Scholarships for Persian language courses from ARMACAD

ARMACAD is pleased to announce scholarships for eligible students in Iranian Studies and associated disciplines to attend ASPIRANTUM's 2025 Summer School for the Persian language.

The scholarship:

ARMACAD offers up to 10 scholarships to eligible students interested in learning Persian in Armenia. Please see the criteria below to determine if you qualify. The participation fee for the 5-10 weeks Persian Language course is $4190-$6690 ($6690 - 10 weeks, $6190 - 9 weeks, $5690 - 7 weeks, $5190 - 7 weeks, $4690 - 6 weeks, $4190 - 5 weeks).  

The ARMACAD scholarship will cover $1500. 

The student will pay $1,500 less than the original course price if awarded the ARMACAD Scholarship.

If you are selected and accept the scholarship, the payment deadline is February 15, 2025 (extensions can be requested). Scholarship recipients will also be asked to provide a photo and a short bio for publication on ASPIRANTUM's social media, where we will announce the winners.

Who is eligible?

Only apply for this scholarship if you satisfy the eligibility requirements.
Students pursuing Undergraduate (BA), graduate (MA), and postgraduate (Ph.D.) programs as well as researchers in Iranian Studies and related fields who are enrolled in universities or academic institutions in the countries specified below, can apply for the ARMACAD scholarship. The ideal candidates will be 19 - 39 years old by the program's start. 

This scholarship is only available to citizens of the following countries.

Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America.

If you have already received funding from other sources, please refrain from applying for this scholarship.
