Lia Lalayan
Instructor of Armenian Language
Lia Lalayan holds a Master’s degree in Philology and has enhanced her qualifications by studying Psychology, Pedagogy, and Methodology. She is a lecturer in the Armenian Language Department at Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU), where she teaches Armenian language and literature to foreign students. Additionally, she works with the Birthright Armenia Foundation and the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
With eight years of experience teaching Armenian as a foreign language, Lia is the author of several articles and study materials for college students. She specializes in the grammatical peculiarities of the Eastern Armenian language. Lia is fluent in English and Russian and has an intermediate proficiency in Italian.
Armenian Language Courses
Armenian Language courses offer participants to master skills in written and oral modern Eastern Armenian. We also aim at helping students to rapidly deepening their knowledge in colloquial Armenian. Reading and interpreting Armenian texts from different periods may be included in our Armenian curriculum. Before the start of the classes students will receive an online support from our Armenian language instructor.
