I’m so glad that I chose to grow my understanding of Eastern Armenian as a research language with Aspirantum’s 7-week course in beautiful Yerevan. Beginning with my initial conversations with program leadership, I was impressed with the professionalism and care to detail that sets this program apart.
My phenomenal teacher, Lilit Khlopuzyan, was able to strike the balance between meeting me where I was at the beginning of the summer without judgement or impatience, and challenging me to improve my command of Armenian with positivity, encouragement, and incredibly skillful instruction. Lilit was enthusiastic about tailoring our lessons with my research interests and professional goals relating to language acquisition in mind, and this greatly supported my progress!
I’ve spent a lot of time in Armenia, on several previous trips, but this experience with a wonderful teacher and cohort of peers through Aspirantum has been an adventure that I’ll treasure.

Armenian Language courses offer participants to master skills in written and oral modern Eastern Armenian. We also aim at helping students to rapidly deepening their knowledge in colloquial Armenian. Reading and interpreting Armenian texts from different periods may be included in our Armenian curriculum. Before the start of the classes students will receive an online support from our Armenian language instructor.
