10 weeks (or 5-9 weeks) 2025 Russian Language Summer School (5-10 credits)
Taking ASPIRANTUM’s summer Russian course was the best! I had just finished an undergraduate degree in Russian language and literature, but I didn’t feel confident in my ability to speak conversationally, and my grammar also left something to be desired. Thankfully, every day at ASPIRANTUM, we had an hour dedicated to grammar and many hours speaking and learning new vocabulary and culture. Further, since so many people speak Russian in Yerevan, most of my daily interactions were in Russian, which was invaluable practice!
The syllabus, structure, and method of teaching were fantastic, and I really couldn’t have asked for a better class.
Additionally, as an introvert, it would have been easy for me to hide away in my apartment, but the excursions planned and my fantastic peers really helped me get out of my shell and enjoy how beautiful Armenia is. While my focus was on the Russian language and culture, I also learned so much about Armenia and its history thanks to Khachik and our tour guide, Ani! Yerevan is such a beautiful, vibrant, and safe city that I will truly miss. It is simply a fantastic program in an ideal location.
