My experience with the Aspirantum Persian Language Program was nothing short of life changing. I was able to not only improve my Farsi, but I was also able to experience what life is like in day-to-day Armenia. Each day the instructors gave us challenging assignments to complete as they felt that we needed to be held to a high standard, but they always motivated us to continue to improve. This approach allowed me to grow not only in the different aspects of language, such as reading, writing, and speaking, but also as a person. The program was designed in a very effective way that allowed us to not only improve out language skills, but also our regional expertise of Armenia, Iran, and other surrounding areas. By spending just 4 months in Armenia, I was able to get a very nuanced look into life outside the US in every aspect. My culturally understanding of the region shifted dramatically, and my new perspectives will allow me to better communicate with people dissimilar to me for the rest of my life. I wish I could have spent more time with the great instructors and classmates I had while studying in Armenia, and I fully recommend this program to all. You will not regret it.
