16 weeks 2025 Russian Language Semester Program

Starting at a near beginner level of Russian, the semester study at Aspirantum has given me a good base on which I can work my way to proficiency. Teachers Alyona and Olga has been very patient and professional in the classes. They have provided a good balance between speaking practice and more technical, grammar heavy curicculum.

The current geopolitical landscape makes learning Russian in an immersive environment far less available than it once was.

The quality of the program in combination with the setting in Yerevan makes the Aspirantum Russian program a unique opportunity. For a grammar heavy language like Russian, regular practice is key.

The combination of Russian knowlegde in nearly the whole population, as well as the Russian language having a central role in everyday communication, means you’ll be using the Russian you learn on a daily basis. Armenia is likely one of the world’s best places to study immersive Russian.

The program also includes several extracuriccular activities, including excursions to different places in Armenia. Even as a return traveler to Armenia for over a decade, I can confidently say this program includes locations I would not have been able to find any other way.
