I loved my time at Aspirantum. It was truly a delight and privilege to be taught by Vardan, who was endlessly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Persian language. Being in his class was an outstanding academic experience, and the summer course we took at Aspirantum will always be a huge part of my journey in learning Farsi. Vardan and Ruben were such patient and kind mentors, and I felt both supported and stimulated by both of them. The whole Aspirantum team was unbelievably kind to us over the summer, and the weekend trips organized by Khachik allowed us to combine our academic experience with a cultural one, and it was so wonderful to be able to explore beautiful Armenia alongside our studies. Vardan’s classes combined very immersive language instruction with a stream of fascinating linguistic explanations. I feel very lucky to have participated in Aspirantum! And I very much hope to return to Yerevan one day to see Khachik, Vardan, Ani, Ruben, Tigran, and Mary again.
