What makes the 16-week semester course at ASPIRANTUM Language School so great is the sheer depth and range of subjects that you have the opportunity to learn about during your time in Yerevan. Every day is a slightly different topic about Persia or Iran. This allows you to widen your scope of interest in regard to Persian studies. This is important and beneficial as it then allows you to find what part or parts of Persian studies interest you personally- for me, it was definitely the modern international politics of Iran as it allowed me to learn about Iran’s place on the world stage today and to speculate about what the future could hold for the Islamic Republic. Additionally, I really enjoyed learning about all the different ethnic groups that are in Iran and the historical relations between them - this section of the course definitely highlights the diverse infrastructure of groups in Iran and the problems that they have today and also in the past.

Additionally, the staff at Aspirantum Language School make your time here hugely beneficial. Khachik and his team are polite, friendly, and very accommodating to any problems you may have. They are also extremely knowledgeable and what makes that especially useful is that their expertise and willingness to indulge in the wide interests that anyone embarking on Persian studies may have, leads to interesting, academic debate and discussion in the classroom from which everyone can learn more.

Moreover, aside from the classroom, Apirantum Language School makes a real effort to show you the real Armenia. I can now say that I have experienced what this brilliant country has to offer, more than the average tourist. I have tried, visited, and experienced things and places that I never thought I would and for that, I only have Khachik and his team to thank.
