3 weeks 2022 Old Persian Online School

I took Aspirantum’s Old Persian online course because I was already heavily interested in the Achaemenid Persian empire and wanted to learn the language of the ancient Persians. And this course definitely fulfilled my interests in those areas. My instructor Nshan Kesecker was very informative and helpful. He was not only knowledgeable in the language and ancient Iran, but he also encouraged us to take insights into certain historical events. He offered information that one could not simply find by searching online, and I personally enjoyed discussing history and linguistics with Mr.Kesecker.

The faculties were also very helpful as well. Despite the conflict with my school schedule, Mr.Gevorkyan and Kesecker helped me catch up to the course. I could efficiently take the lectures thanks to their guidance. I recommend this course to anyone who’s interested in ancient cultures and languages!

“I would recommend anyone interested in the world of Achaemenid Persia to take an Old Persian class with Nshan. He was knowledgeable as an instructor and friendly as a colleague/friend. He also has many good stories to share, so the redundant "thatiy Darayavahush xshayathiya xshayathiyanam" would not be too unbearable:).”
