10 weeks (or 4-9 weeks) 2024 Russian Language Summer School

Come to learn Russian at ASPIRANTUM to find out why one of my most cherished souvenirs from Yerevan is a wine cork; you won’t be disappointed!

The Russian language program at ASPIRANTUM has been invaluable to my development as a confident speaker and reader of Russian. The classes are conducted entirely in Russian, which means that every time you don’t know a word, you have to use other Russian words to explain what you’re trying to say! As a result, you’re constantly improving both your vocabulary and speaking skills.

Most importantly, Alyona is not only an expert in the language but also a kind and generous mentor who will bring you on a language-learning journey that feels like a gentle walk but yields results like a grueling hike. Trust me: I came to ASPIRANTUM too shy to introduce myself to my flatmates, and I’m leaving confidently screaming at speeding cars in Russian—language gains right here. And, on a more serious note, I can now read Russian texts with only occasional dictionary help, and I am comfortable having debates on issues ranging from the amateur dentistry of Peter the Great to the merits of lowering the retirement age.

As a bonus, Armenia is truly beautiful, and ASPIRANTUM will give you the chance to explore it.

Thanks for having me! I had such a great time these past eight weeks.
