1 week 2025 Learn Russian through the Constitution of the Soviet Union

The saddest thing about language learning is how quickly the knowledge perishes if not maintained. I stopped learning the Russian language years ago, and although I kept using it in certain ways, particularly for the sake of my doctoral research, I started feeling more and more timid when it came to language production, especially speaking. I'm very grateful to ASPIRANTUM for organizing this language course, and especially to our teacher Aliona, who was not only an excellent pedagogue, catering to each one of the participants' needs, interests, and weaknesses but also for making the learning process very interesting and fun. Aliona not only imparted valuable linguistic insights but also provided a supportive learning environment. Although the course lasted only five days, it made me feel so much more comfortable and confident when using the Russian language, and it inspired me to start actively working on my Russian skills again. Language learning is indeed a journey with its highs and lows, and this course was a significant milestone in my ongoing exploration of the Russian language. Embracing the challenges and joys of language acquisition, I discovered a renewed passion for linguistic proficiency that extends beyond my academic pursuits.

“I took a 5-day course called "Learning Russian through the Soviet Constitution". This was the second course I'm taking with the Aspirantum school and with the teacher, Aliona, so I had no doubts about the quality of teaching.”

“This course proved to be one of the most interesting educational experiences I've encountered during my studies of the Russian language. Throughout the week, I found myself fully immersed in the subject matter, exploring both the language environment of the Soviet constitution and actively participating in discussions.”

“What an incredible course! This was a fantastic overview of the 1977 Soviet constitution. Using more formal language is a more challenging Russian text for me, but Aliona made sure we both understood the new words and the context in which we are meant to use them.”
