ASPIRANTUM’s online Persian course was outstanding.
Professor Voskanian is incredibly knowledgeable about Persian language, culture, and history, and generous about sharing his knowledge with students.
Each class was divided into three sessions: in the first, we read a short contemporary article on a topic related to Persian culture; next, we discussed the topic; and we ended by reading and translating a literary text. This approach gave students a multifaceted approach to learning Persian.
The discussions allowed me to Immediately put into practice the new vocabulary and concepts I’d learned from each day’s article.
The range of subjects discussed enabled students with varying interests in Persian culture and history to all learn a lot from the course.
Professor Voskanian is also extremely friendly and encourages students to share their questions and comments, to which he gives thoughtful and comprehensive responses.
I also appreciated how Professor Voskanian allowed us to have some control over the class: several students suggested texts that we were interested in studying in the course, and Professor Voskanian very kindly incorporated them into our lessons.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to develop their knowledge of Persian language and culture. Thank you very much for the amazing experience!
