Before attending the Classical Armenian course by ASPIRANTUM, I had just a beginner level of Modern Armenian language, and I had never approached the Classical one.
As an Art Historian, I do not work on ancient language translations in my everyday job, but my knowledge was enough to attend the course successfully. First of all, I succeeded thanks to the method adopted by professor Ani Shahnazaryan.
Ani always tried to make us feel the language and go deeply through it instead of just mechanically memorizing the grammatical rules. She patiently guided us for six hours every week, building our advancement step by step and providing us all the tools to go through ancient Armenian texts.
I didn't expect to reach such a great result quickly, and I really recommend this course.

Armenian Language courses offer participants to master skills in written and oral modern Eastern Armenian. We also aim at helping students to rapidly deepening their knowledge in colloquial Armenian. Reading and interpreting Armenian texts from different periods may be included in our Armenian curriculum. Before the start of the classes students will receive an online support from our Armenian language instructor.
