10 weeks (or 5-9 weeks) 2025 Russian Language Summer School (5-10 credits)

I am so glad I made the decision to study at Aspirantum and I cannot recommend the Russian summer program enough. I was looking for an immersive experience in the Russian language – and I got one. From stylish cafes in Yerevan to sheepherders in the mountains, speaking Russian became a reflex. The nature of being able to put what I learned in the classroom directly into practice the moment I stepped outside was priceless.

Aspirantum provides an engaging syllabus, and the classes are well structured. Our teacher Alyona was simultaneously firm and encouraging. I feel lucky to have been a student of hers. As a result of this program, I have greatly expanded my vocabulary, improved my grammar and am more confident in speaking Russian in unfamiliar environments.

There was rarely a dull moment during the 8 weeks I studied at Aspirantum, as Armenia has so much to offer. The design of Yerevan makes it such a comfortable place to live and study. You can get into the groove of living there very quickly, and there is always something to do. The excursions we went on through Aspirantum were diverse and well-executed. The passion that Khachik has for providing students with an unforgettable experience in and out of the classroom is unmatched. I grew to love Armenia and Yerevan so much that I feel like an unofficial ambassador. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – can’t recommend this course enough!

From taking a taxi to chatting with strangers at a coffee shop, I had the opportunity to practice my Russian everyday outside of the class and grow my confidence in speaking as the classes progressed.”
