My experiences with Aspirantum were very positive, I found my teacher to be professional yet friendly.
The course gave me a very interesting insight into Aechemenid culture and of course the language. Even though I am a historian and not a linguist I did feel like I could relatively easily follow the course material and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the Aechemenids, a subject which strangely enough was omitted in my history bachelor studies so far.
Regular online learning tends to be a bit tedious but I did not feel that way about this course. It was interesting to attend class with people from not only Europe but the US as well. Learning about Old Persian made me understand the intricacies of modern Indo-European languages and their interconnectedness as well.
It was a tough few weeks but I'd recommend anyone who either has an interest in the history of Persia or the Persian language to take this crash course.
