10 weeks (or 6-9 weeks) 2026 Russian Language Summer School

I attended the 2026 Summer Russian Program, which was terrific! I loved that there was such a variety of places of historical sites to visit. My favorites were Garni Temple, Byurakan Observatory, and Mt. Aragats. Seeing the vast range of terrains and witnessing the culture-both past and present-was incredible to me. Being able to interact with people regularly in Russian on the streets of Yerevan was also a huge bonus.

I am so grateful and blessed that I was able to study Russian with my three treasured classmates and also learn from *the GOAT*: Alyona. I tend to give very simple, direct answers. One thing that really helped me grow and appreciate Russian more is that Alyona always asked for a rationale behind my answer, whether it be on grammar or a topic we had just talked about. "Why?" is the question that I have been asking myself more and more. I just really love all the questions, exploring answers, and just enjoying the process of learning. Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of that trip. A special thanks to Alyona for her patience, great sense of humor, and dedication to teaching her students so well.
