I could not be more grateful for the time I spent studying Russian with ASPIRANTUM this summer. The classes were conducted entirely in Russian by our absolutely amazing instructor, Alyona, and we covered a variety of topics including grammar, literature, geography, religion, and the sciences. Our classes were very conversation-based, which helped me improve my listening and speaking skills significantly - I feel much more confident communicating in Russian and engaging with Russian language materials than before. Altogether, Alyona’s exceptional teaching abilities, our superb curriculum, and my lovely classmates made the classroom environment highly productive and conducive to learning. Without a doubt, this was the best Russian class I have ever taken.

Furthermore, the many excursions and cultural activities we participated in highlighted so much of Armenia’s long, complex history, which led me to really appreciate my time there. I found our visits to Mt. Aragats, the Sergei Parajanov Museum, and the Yerevan Brandy Factory to be particularly interesting. I would absolutely love to return to Armenia in the future, and I would recommend studying in Yerevan with ASPIRANTUM to anyone.
