Here we have a short piece on the Grand Bazaar of Tehran presented by the female narrator in moderately colloquial Persian. Listening to this video will help students to learn about the stylistic differences of the absolute and moderate colloquial Persian often used in different types of media.

بازار تهران – The bazaar of Tehran
The students will be given time to speak about their experiences in the Grand Bazaar of Tehran if they have ever been there or otherwise, they should try to present their own views as to how an oriental bazaar should like. Students may also speak about their experiences in other Middle Eastern or North African markets, if they have such experiences. They may also try to describe the yearly fairs that take place in their own countries.
